Dear King of the RETARDS

I am moving to Texas in the middle of July and I started a new job that requires lots of travel. I know that Texas is a constitutional carry state but I was considering looking at getting a carry license for states that aren’t, and traveling for work I want to be able to have some protection on the road. Would it be beneficial to get a permit? I also carry appendix most of the time but it gets uncomfortable carrying that way for long drives. Any recommendations for carrying more comfortably on long trips? I’ve seen those magnetic mounts but don’t know if they are good or bad. Thanks for keeping my small retarded brain sane on the road. Also I shot a .45 out of a 9mm and now it hurts when I pee, any thoughts on that as well?

I know Charter arms is a half step up from Taurus; but local gun shop has a Charter 44 special, 4in barrel, adjustable sights, and $400 out the door. My mind is telling me no, but my boomer spirit animal is telling me yes. Please help.

By the time you guys read this, it will have been a while since your discussion on single stage vs two stage triggers, but I thought I’d give my two cents. I personally enjoy the feeling of a two stage as I like how predictable they typically are. The first stage or take-up weight is like a sunk cost in the overall weight of the trigger, resulting in an extremely light and predictable break in the second stage. I don’t personally subscribe to the idea that the break should surprise you. In precision shooting all you feel is the light final break, and in fast shooting, the reset leaves you right at the wall just as a single stage would. I think it’s fully a matter of preference and it boils down to training with what you have.

I’m looking for new ear pro, my cheapo depo caldwells are uncomfortable. Looking for over the ear. I’ve been looking at walker’s, axils, and a few other brands. What are some good ear pro brands and models yall recommend. I have a watermelon head and want electronic or digital- not sure of the difference in the 2. BT is ok also, not required. Might use them when I bushhog or mow if they have it. Not looking to spend 200$, trying to keep it around 100$ or so. Can spend more for the right pair if it’s highly recommended though. I’m sure this has been asked 100 times already, but I really appreciate the time. Keep upnthe awesome show! And Jeremy is the best!
