If I was to make a wood stock for the PC carbine what would the LOP for it would be ideal? I ask cause I want to try out making custom wood stocks for rifles as a side gig. You guys are the best gun podcast around. Thanks for all that y’all do.

Nick, we’ll have to snag a beer one day, but I digress. Been living in rural-ish Montana for just over a year now. This spring, I went into work to do payroll. As I finally finished up that bullshit, I got a call that a grizzly visited the front door of one of the neighbors in our building. I jumped up and drove back knowing my lady and pup were going to be walking the brown line. Got back and the bear wasn’t at our house, but was close. Ended up driving up the road and finding the bear in the field that runs behind our place. I popped out of the truck(in my kitchen attire) with my Marlin in one hand and bear spray in the other and chased the rascal out of the field where he was met by another guy on a four wheeler with 6 collies that chased him a ways into the woods up the mountain. Finally, to the question–I can shoot a problem bear in self defense, but there is a significant burden of proof, even with a grizzly or mountain lion here(both of which are in my “yard”). Where can I find some less than lethal rounds that don’t require a weapon conversion? I looking into UTMs, but really want something civilian legal(…) that I could keep a mag of in the truck or inside the door. The main rancher(born and raised here) has used them relatively often in the past to put pressure on potential problems without murking them. I’m down for caliber options, preferably mag fed. Hey guys, I bought a rifle that I couldnt find many reviews on. The ones I did find were years old. After running 10’s of rounds through it. It makes a fine swampfox 1/8 host. Whats up with Alex Pro Firearms? You guys kick ass! Love the show!

I am in the market for a 300 blackout to suppress. I was looking at the maxim defense pdx. But I know the 5.5 inch barrel leaves some unburnt powder. So what 300bo rifle would you recommend and what barrel length would you recommend with a omega 300 suppressor? See you at guncon in 4 days.
