Terin S: I have an fnx-45 with a TLR1 HL and it’s one of my favorite pistols to shoot. Every time I go on a road trip it sits in my cup holder and I’ve got 45 230gr hollow points with it to fling at coyotes when they run across the road or people if need be. I want to tinker with it a bit, but I haven’t been able to find many parts that can be upgraded. Is dropping it off at a gunsmith to lighten the trigger pull and shorten the take up the only option? Everything I’ve read indicates that they’re complicated to disassemble and that’s part of the reason aftermarket parts aren’t common.

I’d appreciate any input from the “brain trust”. Also Weatherby makes a cartridge in every caliber faster and better than whatever you’re looking at.

Joe J: First off, good show and I have followed you on truth social. I called Jeremy about a range for sale in RC SD and wondering if he bought it. Final observation, are all marines after Vietnam just mechanics? What is the top malfunction you see with Bear Creek and Palmetto state ARs?

Alex W: If you could only have one handgun:

-Theoretical scenario: Social collapse in America with rampant crime and supply chain breakdown. You have to protect and provide for yourself and your family but you cannot be seen with a weapon because the crown’s “peacekeeping” minions will shoot visibly armed civilians on sight. Therefore you’re limited to a concealed handgun. Truck guns are not an option because government fuel rationing limits you to mostly foot travel.

-Options: My personal collection consists of a glock 19, glock 20, and a .22 revolver so I’ll stick with that.

I live in Montana so I’d be partial to the 10mm because of bears. However the. 22 is appealing to me just because ammo is so cheap and easy to carry. I know I said one handgun but maybe carrying two in different calibers is a better option. Also interested in your input based one where you live. (Of course Jeremy will say “.22 dumbass”). Also interested to hear what solutions y’all would come up with for that type of situation from your own collections. Would you carry what you consider the best tool for the job? Or would you carry something less expensive/favored in case you had to abandon it to avoid getting in trouble with “peacekeepers”?
