I am trying to justify getting a prt 9kt (mp5 clone).

I own three sbr PCCs that I use as suppressor hosts, a cz scorpion, an mpx, and a kp9. I bought the cz scorpion first the recoil is horrible and even with an aftermarket trigger spring from hb industries the trigger still sucks. The mpx and the kp9 have great triggers (the mpx having a timney and the kp9 having an alg), but when it comes to recoil neither are roller delayed the mpx being gas operate the kp9 being straight blowback. They feel about the same to me.

So my question is this will there be a noticeable difference with the recoil of the PRT that makes it worth buying? And if so will I hate the trigger so much that I won’t want to shoot it since there aren’t any gucci aftermarket triggers?

I am planning on building an 8.6 Blackout bolt gun and my question is how would you guys go about building one? Faxon Firearms is making barrels for AR10s and Remington 700 action rifles. From what I’ve seen, it seems to be a 6.5 Creedmoor action/ bolt face with cases trimmed and necked up to a .338 projectile. Should I just buy a cheap Remington 700 in 6.5CM and take the action, replace the barrel and drop it into the chassis of my choice (I’m looking at the Black Collar Arms Pork Sword chassis with a folding stock, thoughts?). So Jeremy doesn’t have an aneurism, the use case is for a lightweight western big game hunting rig and range use. I plan on getting a Faxon 12-inch barrel and pin/welding a Bowers Group Vers 375. Do you have any recommendations for a stand-alone REM700 action or would it be easier to a Rem700 6.5CM and modifying?

P.S. If you are planning on hopping on the 8.6BLK train early, Id start stockpiling .338 projectiles before everyone else does. I have found a couple of boxes of 250gr Hornady for pretty cheap which won’t last.

Firing a rifle grenade with a live round can detonate it. People have died this way; the Army had training videos during WWII to teach the troops how absolutely imperative it is to load a blank before trying to fire a rifle grenade.

What eye pro would you recommend? I want something shaded, polarized to help my astigmatism, and of course safe to help protect against pissing hot loads, also looking to upgrade from over the ear to in ear pro so send me some recommendations for those as well, thank you
