What is the general opinion about Tikkas? I have heard great things and have felt a few in person, the bolt throw was incredible on the one I tried. Have any if you guys had experience with their centerfire rifles, and how much does smoothness on an action change your mind on a purchase?

I’d like to find a T3x Roughtech Ember, but despite being released in 2021, they are nowhere to be found in the US, but the fde one can be. Its going to be in .308 just for a general purpose rifle to deal with coyotes and ring steel every now and then, do you think anything else would fit that role for under 1200?

I have a question for the group: I was born with a birth defect that has left me blind in my left eye. This has made me completely right eye dominant in all things. For the life of me, I cannot figure out a way to see the sights on my rifles if I was forced into shooting off-handed, you know, in Minecraft.

I know the The Lord of Hate will tell me to stop being an effing cripple, but that is of little help 😉 Can you guys offer any suggestions of products or techniques that might allow for someone in my condition to compensate?

Hey guys, today mr guns and gear posted a link to an hk sl8, which is basically a longer g36 with a fixed stock because Germany has stupid export laws on guns, my question is would an experienced gun smith be able to cut down the barrel to something more carbine length, or shorter if they want to go the sbr route?

Also if the sbr route is desired would all it take is a tax stamp then hack off the barrel or is it more complicated since the rifle was initially sold as a rifle and not an sbr?

Hey guys, I have a 12.5 inch AR chambered in 5.56 that I’d like to use for home defense and I’m stuck on what ammo would be best for it, I’ve done some research but the internet doesn’t really seem to know the best option, just curious to know what you guys think, If I remember Jeremy said he had a 7.5 in supressed SBR for home defence, I’m curious to know what he uses for ammo, I’ve considered heavier loads like 75-77 gr but would that be more effective then say a 40-50 gr perjectile? I’m stuck on this and maybe you can help persuade me, barrel is a 1-7 twist, not sure if that matters tho at such short distance, thanks.
