Hey guys, love the show! I’ve been considering upgrading PCC’s. I’ve got a gen 2 sub2000 years ago and have been debating an M-Carbo trigger upgrade and 45 deg offset red dot so it still folds up. Is it worth modifying the turd or do I trade it for something like a PTR MP5 braced pistol? Other suggestions that are relatively compact (like fit in a backpack)? Use cases: suppressed small game hunting (coyotes and smaller), plinking, possibly self defense. Looking forward to your input, thanks!

Shawn, 224 Valk isn’t being made by Federal anymore? Where’d you see/hear that?

I’ve never seen more 224v on the local shelf than I have in recent months and online has it for 70¢/rd.

In my opinion, it’s a victim of Federal’s marketing team. If it was designed around an 80gr bullet and sold as a better mk262 and/or 22 nosler… I think it would have had more staying power.
