I’m planning on making a homemade 10/22. This is mostly for plinking, with most shots under 50 yards with the occasional stretch to 100 yards using standard high velocity cartridges. Question 1: I’ve seen barrels in both 1:9 and 1:16 twist, any real advantage to one over the other using standard CCI mini-mags or similar ammunition? Question 2: What is everyone’s favorite scope for a 22lr?

I’m sorry I’m advance if this is too long of a questions. I live in bout 10 acres of land and would like to build/buy (whatever is best) an AR pistol for home Defence. When I asked what was the best size barril length, I came across different answers going from 10.5 so you can clear rooms easy to 13.5 that way you steel have the power in case you need to shoot zombies entering your property from far away. So I turn the question to you. Along with to become a good build what parts brands would I need? What light along with is it better to keep iron sights or red dot or any other type of sight. Also what cartridge would be best. I would also like to ask if you guys have listeners in NM I’ve been bugging my district representative to see if they can do something for conceal carry holders and make it so we don’t have to do NIC’s but the more we bug the better chance of them listening n doing something In advance thank you. I started to listen from the beginning to see if I could catch more info and learn more but the episodes of the unnamed are not there no more. Where can I find them ? I mean I’m pretty sure there’s a lot of good info in those episodes that could help us. (Apple podcast)

For shooting long range, do you all use a sling, if so, which one? Also do you use a Bipod, Bags, or Backpack for a rest?

Hi guys, love the show. I have two questions for you. First: Shawn and Nick say they love the Axil GS ear pro. I recently got a pair, I’ve had them out to the range twice. No matter what I do, I can’t get them to reduce gun shots to a comfortable level. Shawn mentioned something about inserting them correctly. Could he please give some advice. Second: Jeremy has mentioned a couple times how he really dislikes Hiperfire Triggers. I have a couple in my guns and they seem like a pretty good trigger for the money. What’s his beef with Hiperfire. Thanks for the help guys.
