Do any of y’all have any experience with the armaspec silent recoil spring? If so, what are the pros and cons of running one of these versus your standard carbine buffer and spring?

I’m planning on building an AR-15 pistol in .300 Blackout similar to the Maxim Defense PDX. I say similar because on the Maxim Defense website for the PDX, they warn against removing their Hatebrake in order to mount a suppressor. Among other parts, I’d be using a Maxim Defense SCW Pistol PDW brace and 6-inch barrel from Ballistic Advantage, as Faxon does not make a .300 Blackout barrel that short. It would be suppressed more often than not, but I still desire to shoot supersonic ammo when the can is not on, for instance if I were to turn it into a backpack or truck gun. Do you know of any issues shooting frangible ammo, subsonic with can or supersonic without the can, from a barrel that short? And should I use an adjustable gas block with ten or twelve settings? Thanks. Keep up the great work, and it’s not gay if there’s a midget involved.
