Dear WLS
- David K – Shot tons of guns and suppressors on multiple platforms, but a buddy recently picked up an FN 509 and said it was a good host. So, what makes a gun a “good suppressor host”?
- whoever readsthisisgay – Why won’t Xtech ship their freedom extensions to mag-restricted states? I travel outside my home state regularly to shoot and want to be able to swap out my spring/baseplate when I go to free states. Also, it’s a spring and baseplate, not a magazine; there are no laws restricting them, and if someone wants to disobey unjust laws in an act of civil disobedience, that’s on them.
- Nick’s OtherLover – “Im looking at suppressors. Im not a db hoe, I just want it to tame the noise a bit. My biggest concerns are flash mitigation and small size. Before you say shit about earpro, I keep my Sordins on so I can talk shit to my friends over radio. Some notes.”
- Spenser F – Now that new frontier armory is out of business. Is there another company that makes mp5 mag lowers for the ar9?
- Sour Nut – If a wood chuck could chuck wood, would they pick a red dot to put on a revolver? If so, what red dot would it be? I bought a S&W TRR8 need to put a dot on it for maximum fuckaround points, also actually deer hunting with it. No Notes
- Carpet Beaver – I would like to practice some dry firing. I’m looking at the dry fire mag and Mantis system. Have you tried these two together. P365XL. I know you guys have ran the Mantis system before and wondered if it works in conduction with the dry fire mag. Preferably a trigger resetting system that works with a laser target system. Any info would help. Thanks
- Zack K – “What is your most hated gun and why? I’ll start the walther PK380. It has a shit take down where you need a “key”, low capacity for the size, safety only with no decocker, and very limited aftermarket.”
- Lieutenant Ovbious – Let’s be real, the best part about the tax stamp going to zero is that the used market on suppressors is going to go crazy. Gimme dem $80 used 22LR cans that just need a good cleaning. This is not a question.
The winner of this week’s swag pack is Sour Nut!
