Dear WLS
- Cody A – I work in Chicago but live about an hour and a half away to the northwest. Given I live around cornfields and have a pretty good bug-in setup, my goal would be to get home in a SHTF scenario. I carry a backpack that has some body armor from Safelife Defense, a water straw, and a paper map of the city… But what other items would you suggest for me to carry in order to get back home safely?Keep in mind that, legally speaking, I can’t carry my firearm on the train that I take into Chicago. Thanks! No notes.
- Dummudda Futker – Hypothetical Minecraft- While drinking heavily, Nick Dooley convinces Jeremy to take on the rest of the world; they can only choose one compound, Jeremy’s or Dooley’s, but they will both have their entire collections of firearms, ammo, defense and supplies. President Herrera recruits the rest of We Like Shooting, with the help of Garth, to defeat the two men. Do the guys and Garth, with their entire collections of firearms, ammo, defense and supplies, stand a chance at defeating the Duo?We Like Shooting and Garth can recruit the guys from “Gun and Gear Review Podcast,” but Tony Simon will be on Jeremy and Dooley’s team. No one’s family exists in this scenario, and laws do not apply.
- Nicholas T – I’m looking to turn my kids’ Mossberg SA-28 into the ultimate turkey-slaying machine. What’s your take on the Williams Gun Sight LRS for shotguns? Will it help me bag a big gobbler, or is it just a fancy way to distract me from the fact that I’ll still probably miss? Asking for a dad who’s ready to steal his kids’ gear and blame it on ‘quality control.
- Justin W – Getting ready to buy some silencers. Probably going with a Bower group 22 icon. Should I just go ahead and buy the vers 9 and vers 30. The 30 would be going on a 300 blackout rifle. And the 9 on a ar9.
- Buster – i am having issues with a suppressing my AR Chambered in .350 legend. i deer hunt with it (ohio things) and usually without the can on it, and i have it pretty much dialed in. before thanksgiving we all went to the range in the backyard to make sure our rifles are sighted in for the upcoming deer gun season. i decided to take the can off my big boy x (.357/.38sp) and put it on my .350. well i was hitting dirt at 100yards. i know the point of impact changes, but hitting the dirt 15 feet infront the target seems alittle drastic. AR is a 18inch cmmg barrel, aero upper, Odin works adjustable gas block, matching aero lower. Rise armament trigger. h2 buffer, bcm gunfighter mod 2 stock. the optic is a swampfox arrowhead 1-10x. the suppressor is a silencerco omega 36m (i know yall hate silencerco. got it before i heard about the show) with the shitty asr mounting. the can seems to do fine on my henry and my 6.5CM Remington. i just cant seem to get it dialed in withe suppressor. sorry for the long question. jeremy is not a cunt. shawn move to ohio. savage stay far away from ohio. aaron muck fichigan. thanks
- David L – Saw this the other day. www.harborfreight.com/emergency-survival-kit-12-piece-59708.html Wondered what your thoughts were on it for survival? What would you add or remove?
- It Stinks In Here – Really new listener here. I’m your neighbor to the north from good ole stinky greeley. We have just as many nasty homeless people as you do down there. So I’m looking for a more convenient way to carry my pistol a glock 26. I would like to try the blue alpha fanny pack. My question is can it also hold a 33 round magazine and a pistol?

- The Henry Supreme lever-action rifle is now available for orders, after being announced at the 2024 SHOT Show. It features a modern design with a free-floated barrel and adjustable trigger, plus it feeds from AR-pattern magazines instead of tube mags. This makes it easier for users to find affordable magazines. The MSRP is $1,299, and it comes in .223 or 300 BLK. The rifle is currently available.
- Griffin Armament launched a new AR-15 bolt carrier group called the Enhanced Gas Pocket BCG. It reduces sound at the shooter’s right ear when using suppressors by venting gas into a special pocket instead of out the ejection port. It offers around 10.5 dB sound reduction on longer barrels and at least 3.5 dB on shorter ones. Made from durable materials with unique features to minimize recoil and improve reliability, this BCG aims to enhance shooting experiences. Currently, the product is available.

Availability is currently unspecified.
