Dear WLS
- Mateo 756 – I can’t remember if you guys are hk bros or not, but what do you guys think about hk mr556 a4 aka civ416 Does anyone planning on getting one?
- Mitch C – I just got my first MP5 clone and I’m trying to look cool. Started with the short AP5 but will be getting a full size PTR eventually. Is the Bowers Wardog K9 the best can for that gun? Or is the 9s better or is there something else better out there? Do you guys ever post your builds somewhere where I can see (and copy, of course) what and how you guys build certain guns and a parts list other than talking about them on the show? Like either of Shawn’s MP5s, Nicks shorty .308, Aaron’s ranch rifle,or Jeremy’s regulator? No notes.
- Prisoner of a blue state – Dear thermal experts…. Want to give night predator hunting a try. Here in the Garden State ( NJ) we can if we use a shotgun with a maximum of 4 bucks and limited to 3 rounds. I have a VR80 laying around which I can block a mag. My question is..thermal. I doubt we will have a target more than 50-100 yards away and it’s a shotgun so not getting further anyway. I was looking at either the AGM rattler V2 or the ATN Thor. I think this is something I may do a couple of times and then wonder why I bought a thermal scope so under $1000 is kind of a must. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Ps. How about adding a gun education segment to your show? Not everyone knows what necked down, head stamp long short action, Roller delayed, long Short stroke, open closed bolt is. Just a short few minutes each week explaining for simple folk. Jermey can do it so he doesn’t have to have yell at Aaron for being wrong!! Maybe Mr Cleckner will let you call it gun university. Thanks again, You guys do a great job.
- Statler W – What do you think of snake staff systems tourniquet? They claim they can get 65% smaller for children and pets. I heard about them on the shawn ryan podcast. Here is a linkwww.snakestaffsystems.com
- Jake J – I just bought my first suppressor yesterday, a Lahar 30k. I plan to swap this between a 10.5in 5.56, 8.5in .300BO and an 12.5in Aero M5 .308. What is the best option for a QD mount so I don’t have to swap the direct thread adapters?P.S. The Tuck Piss bit last year was the funniest shit ever.
- Dr. Nugget – Good evening, I was recently going through my firearms collection and adding up the value. This got me thinking about insuring my collection, because if something were to happen, I could never afford to buy it all again. I had looked into this years ago, but never found a solution I was happy with. My home owners insurance policy can cover firearms but you have to list make, model, and serial number for each firearm, which I would rather not provide to some liberal fortune 500 company. To make matters worse my insurance company will also only insure up to 15 guns, making it completely pointless. I know Big Daddy Unlimited did a firearms insurance thing years ago, but I wasn’t interested since they are a company I don’t care for. Just curious what you guys do . or if you have any suggestions. Respectfully Dr. Nugget, P.S. Jeremy is a cunt
- Rob K – Dear WLS Hey guys I’m interested in building a “733” Clone of Val Kilmer’s AR from Heat! Was planning on doing it in a pistol form and use the Palmetto State Armory HAR-15 Adjustable Stabilizing Pistol Blade. I have come to find out I can’t order the Pistol Blade. I live in not friendly gun state and PSA will not ship it out. The part is legal to own in my state and the AR is also registered with the state so it’s legal for me to possess. I’ve tried going to my local gun stores to see if they can just order the blade and just charge me a fee for it. PSA will also not ship any items or firearms to them as well. One shop told me PSA will not ship anything to this state regardless if it’s legal to have because they don’t want the liability of sending it out. If PSA won’t even ship to an FFL how do I finish my build? Why would PSA turn their backs on customers trapped in banned states? Does PSA legal team really have shipping bans on certain states for liability reason? Thanks guys love continuing to listen to the show every week! WLS is Life! P.S before Jeramy tells me to move I have deep family roots here and I’m not going anywhere. #stuckbehindenemylines
