  • Denny E – A few months back Jerambe said that people could get another states CCW permit that had the most reciprocity to carry among the most states. With Trump claiming to instate national reciprocity laws, I had an interest thought. If you lived in a non free state like New York, do you think this would potentially allow you to get a CCW permit from a state like Pennsylvania and now your home state would have to honor your right to carry due to reciprocity laws? Obviously this is a hypothetical , but could be a cool loop hole people could use. Also makes me wonder if you could get around magazine capacity laws, or would you still have to follow magazine capacity laws for the states you visit. Thanks, love the show.

  • The Squancher – I have some odd affinity with the Ruger m77 series guns. The Mauser style bolt is just so damn sexy. Why is Ruger really the only company mass producing a rifle with a Mauser controller feed bolt? Is it an accuracy issue or just cost?   • Mitch C – I’ve been thinking about adding an SBS to the collection and one of you guys had mentioned buying a shockwave and adding a stock. That sounded all good until I was browsing a store today and they had a Henry Axe on the wall. That got me thinking if I could do the same thing with that. Would I be able to add a stock to that? Buy a Midwest industries stock and rail and tac it out? Wasn’t sure if the Henry stocks were all compatible and interchangeable or not. Might be cool, might be a retarded thought. Just wanted to hear the opinions of the gods and doctors of gun podcasting.

  • Austin S – My father approached me wanting to know what I thought about opening an indoor range and gun store. We both agreed there is no indoor range anywhere near us in rural Iowa. There is also not much competition for any type of gunsmithing. We also agree to be successful it would need to be diversified with training, and events as well. My questions are, do you have any advice on how to judge if a range could be successful. I understand an absence of competition doesn’t mean there’s demand. There are many small towns, some big towns and 1 small city within an hours drive. A follow up is for Jeremy. What was the cost all in for your range? What type of features would you add/remove now that you’ve been there a while? What is your average dollar amount of inventory you’re sitting on at any one point? Can you touch on getting dealer samples to supply to police and sheriff departments? My dad retired after 30 years and knows many departments are not happy with their current suppliers. I know it probably isn’t a good idea to try and go this big from the start but it sounds like a good time. Note

  • Rob K – Dear WLS, I need the cast’s opinion on a small dilemma I’m having. My grandfather was an avid 1911 collector who passed away in the mid 2000s. I remember stories of his collection told by family members of how vast it was, he even had a Singer at one time. The entire collection was sold to an auction house after his death, including the Singer, with only a few being saved to be passed down. To make a long story short, after his house was sold, some boxes that were in storage were put in the shed in the backyard and forgotten about. We had some terrible floods this summer and a lot of things were destroyed. I came across a set of custom Antler grips for a 1911. I would like to display them back on a 1911 to remember my grandfather, but wanted feedback on whether I should get a cheap 1911 Tisas or a more high end 1911 like a Classic Colt. It’s honestly just to display the grips and maybe shoot a couple times a year if that. My dilemma is, would it be disrespectful to display something of my grandfathers 1911 legacy on a Turkish copy, or should I save up for something more worthy. What manufacturer would you guys pick and why to display the Antler Grips. Thanks love the show. WLS is Life!!!!!

  • Lipsey’s released an exclusive Ruger Blackhawk Bisley Flattop in .41 Magnum. It has a midsize frame, 5.5-inch barrels, and comes in blued or stainless steel finishes. The revolver features adjustable iron sights and a six-round capacity. It’s special for being built on a .357 Magnum frame and includes a transfer bar safety.   • Wilson Combat announced a new series of limited-edition firearms called Division 77. The first gun, the Project 1, is a custom pistol based on the EDC X9, featuring 42% less recoil due to a special design. It’s chambered in 9x19mm and costs $3,995, or $4,295 for a version with a custom case. Each pistol includes advanced features like an optic mounting system and a flat trigger. Available now.

  • Raven Concealment released the Executive Vanguard (EVG), an updated version of the original Vanguard holster. It features a new wedge design that tucks the pistol closer to the body, improving comfort and concealment without needing extra parts. The EVG comes for left- and right-handed users and fits several popular handgun models. Pricing details aren’t mentioned, but it’s available now.

  • Davidson’s has released an exclusive Ruger Mini-14 Tactical rifle in 300 AAC Blackout. It has a side-folding stock, a 16.5-inch barrel, and includes features like a heat shield, sights, and a Picatinny rail. The rifle weighs 7.5 lbs and is 36.85 inches long. It costs $1,849.00 and is currently available.
