This episode of Double Tap is brought to you by: Brownells, Black Rhino Concealment, Gideon Optics, Blue Alpha, Mitchell Defense, and Bowers Group

Welcome to Double Tap, episode 375! Your hosts tonight are Jeremy Pozderac, Aaron Krieger, Nick Lynch, and me Shawn Herrin, welcome to the show!

Dear WLS

  • Duke of Crude – Hey fam, I have been thinking a lot about the short barrel 308 projects that Nick and Shawn are working on. The matrix presented me with a 10in cmmg barrel in 308; I almost bought it, but then thought about other 308 platforms that might be more ridiculous. What do you think would be the benefits/downsides of building a pistol FAL/PTR PDW(HK51)/ AR10 or other Frankenstein 308 with a 12in barrel or shorter? Thanks for all that you do! Duke

  • Monsterbearman – I live in Wa. state. Since I can’t buy any more standard capacity mags etc… I was looking into getting a .460 Rowland conversion kit for my FNX .45T, as an option for bear protection and such. I do travel to Alaska quite a bit and have run into a few bears in Washington state as well. The conversion process costs much less than buying a new gun and can still shoot normal .45 ACP rounds with the softer recoil spring they include. I wanted the option of more stopping power in a handgun without having to buy yet another gun, holster, optic, and magazines, especially since I can’t even get magazines that hold more than 10 rounds here. What is your guys opinion on .460 Rowland? I know it’s a pretty pricey cartridge but I don’t plan on shooting it much, just carrying it as cougar/bear protection. Love the show.

  • Go Go Autofelatio – Where’s Savage been? Is he in India getting a train run on him?

  • Chris L – Hey, so I was a little late listening to the jock itch recap episode, and I just wanted to point out that in Shawn’s case, the fungal colony probably chose that location because of the vast amount of real estate. Sean’s scrotum is essentially the fungal manifest destiny. It’s their Shangri-La. It’s their Agartha. The promised land. That’s why they fought so hard to keep it. Jeremy, by comparison, is probably just wrinkly. Protect those family jewels, gentlemen, or the tiny hat clan will steal them, just like the rest of our wealth.

  • Cody A – What would each cast members load out be? As in, what would the load out be if it was based on your body type, personality, and daily flair? The firearm would be based on body type. The caliber would be your personality. The accessories would be what you normally have on during the day. Disregard standard caliber/firearm pairings, and which cast members load out would be something you’d actually want to own. Love the show! Thanks. Cody

  • Little Wang Big Heart – Howdy, in wls double tap 311 I asked what everyone’s opinion was on what the United States next major conflict would be. After quite a bit of time and a lot happening in the world I want to ask the same question. Civil war? Ww3? Another forever war in the middle east? What do y’all think ? Also if ww3 broke out who do you think would win?

  • Charles K – If it’s been asked before I don’t care because I didn’t ask it and I didn’t hear the answer. Where did all you meet and what’s the story on how you started WLS
