Summarize / Editorialize / Go to the cast for comments

  • FRT breathes momentarily
    • U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor vacated the ATF’s rule classifying forced reset triggers (FRTs) as “machineguns.” Plaintiffs, including Texas Gun Rights, Inc. and the National Association for Gun Rights, argued that FRTs do not alter the semiautomatic function of firearms since they still require a trigger reset for each shot. The judge agreed, stating that FRTs do not meet the definition of machineguns as they don’t fire multiple rounds per trigger function.
  • CNN gets scared
    • A CNN report reveals that more Americans are arming themselves for self-defense than ever before. A recent survey of 2,477 gun owners shows that the percentage of people citing personal protection as their reason for owning a gun has surged from 26% in 1999 to 79% in 2024. This increase is linked to the civil unrest during the COVID-19 pandemic, the George Floyd protests, and political instability. The trend echoes the rise in self-defense gun ownership seen during the 1960s.
  • Kamala thinks we’re extremists
    • During a campaign speech to the American Federation of Teachers, Kamala Harris mocked those advocating for arming teachers in classrooms, labeling them as “extremists.” She criticized the idea, suggesting it undermines efforts to create safe learning environments. This stance contrasts with recommendations from the Parkland shooting commission, which supported armed teachers to prevent future school shootings.
  • Ohio has dumb mayors
    • A state-level research unit will be established to support law enforcement, alongside state grants for technology and data-driven strategies. Gun owners will be reminded to report stolen guns, with penalties for non-compliance. Ohio law enforcement agencies will be incentivized to input recovered gun data into the eTrace system. Collaboration with state legislative leaders aims to amend laws to reduce gun violence and improve public safety, with an emphasis on protecting children.
  • In passing –
    • Kamala has banning guns as major part of campaign
    • Biden wants to gut the supreme court
      • Biden’s proposal for 18-year term limits on Supreme Court Justices aims to prevent multigenerational influence on the judiciary. However, it’s ironic given his own 36-year tenure in the Senate. The lifetime terms for justices were designed to keep them objective and above political pressures. Instead of creating faster turnover to allow for more frequent court overhauls, the focus should be on preserving the checks and balances intended to promote bipartisanship in judicial appointments. The Supreme Court’s role is to interpret laws, not act as a legislative body. Addressing the legislative branch’s dysfunction is crucial, as both parties now avoid collaboration, waiting for electoral advantages instead.

Five Stars from Remy J: New listener and love the show! Keeps my boring days at the butcher shop entertaining! And thank god Jeremy is in the Midwest with me so I know of at least one good public voice near the Hoosier state! Keep ticklin my tight ear pussy bros. Also Jermey is a cunt

Five Stars from TypicalPNWGuy: 1,200 episodes of earpussy orgasms.

I’ve officially listened to 1,200 episodes and I’d like to say thank you yo everyone thats been part of it. Well…..except that one chicken choker of a “female”. Anyways, I’m glad to see how yall have grown as people (except you Aaron).

Shawn is now truely happy, Nick has lost a bunch of weight and doing great things, Jeremy is crushing it with the store/range, Aaron is still buried in chaos but it makes great stories, and Savage…..bro, get a job. If Savage put as much effort into finding a new job as he does sending me videos on Instagram he’d have enough jobs to give one to Aaron even. JK Savage, theyre funny videos. Also Jermey is a cunt

Keep it up and #WLSISLIFE and #WLS4LIFE.

Five Stars from Wichititty: The okest podcast ive ever listened to.

About 7/8 as good as T.W.I.G.

AAron can be frustrating, but helps keep us out of an echo chamber.

Savage has that tism where he has to tell all the details.

Jeremy has so pretty fringe ideals, which i may or may not agree with.

Nick is the real MVP

Sean will get you to spend money on stuff you dont need.

For real, I blame the money and stress of getting an FFL of you. I hope you stub your toe ever 2 weeks for a year. Also Jermey is a cunt
