Welcome back to the Talking Lead Podcast’s AK Korner presented by Pioneer Arms Corp!  In Part 1 of the AK Korner we hit you with the history of the AK-47 rifle. In our Part 2 episode we will disassemble the AK-47 and break down the components.  Lefty’s and Shwell’s special guest expert is Vincent (Vince) Buckles of Mesa Kinetic Research LLC. 

In addition to schooling us on the parts that make up an AK-47 Vince gives us a lesson on Cast and Forged parts and the characteristics of each.  He teaches us the difference between Milled and Stamped receivers.  Vince also answers some questions sent in by our Lead Head listeners.
