CUOMO’S SERIES OF ANTI-GUN BUSINESS
Cuomo has declared a “first-in-the-nation” disaster emergency on gun violence. The parade is an amalgamation of all of our least favorite buzzwords.
TUCSON MAYOR: WE’RE GOING TO IGNORE AZ SANCTUARY LAW
The move highlights a common issue with sanctuary provisions: a lack of consequences for overzealous officials who choose to ignore them.
Chipman Update
As moderate dems are still undecided as to how they’ll vote on Chipman, the writers at mom at arms have dug up some more chippy gold, such as a 2019 interview where Chipman opined that hate speech should be used to deny gun transfers.

GUNS AND AMMO TAX-FREE IN WEST VIRGINIA
Starting July 1, all small arms and ammo bought in West Virginia will not be subject to state sales tax. This is part of HB 2499, an attempt to promote business by exempting certain sales taxes.

Some serious video came out of Chicago, where an officer called in to a domestic dispute noped right out of a situation when a gun was drawn. It’s a stark reminder that time and time again (Castle Rock v. Gonzalez, Warren v. DC, DeShaney v. Winnebago County) law enforcement do not have a duty to protect.
