Coy – camping, shooting, and eating
Aaron – Supposed to go camping but my daughter got sick. Worked on the shop a lot. Moldy tent.
Listener Feedback
The package arrived just before I left for a camping trip last weekend. I didn’t end up getting stuck, though I did carry my new straps and shackles around with me haha. I know, weird for a Nissan to make it through a trip with no breakdowns or recoveries… Anyway I enjoyed the trail review show, and am looking forward to the next one. Thanks again. Have a great week!

- Other notable changes include full underbody skidplates; the front skidplate is built from aluminum, while the transfer case gets steel shielding.
- The base engine is a 6.6-liter gas V-8 good for 401 hp and 464 lb-ft of torque, paired with an Allison 10-speed automatic.

- ZR2 Bison sports unique steel bumpers with integrated winch provisions and recovery points, stamped steel skidplates underneath to protect the engine, steering rack, transfer case, and exhaust, as well as unique wheels and interior trim.
- Gas HD ZR2s can haul up to 3,397 pounds in the bed, besting the Rebel’s 3,140-pound and the more off-road-focused Power Wagon’s 1,660-pound ratings, but falling short of the lighter, aluminum-bodied F-250 Tremor’s 4,053-pound capacity.

- Don’t worry it weighs 400 lb less than the Bronco Raptor
- 3.5 inch wider track, and the rear suspension loses the leaf springs in favor of radius arms and coilovers. The rear also employs a watts linkage rather than a panhard bar for improved cornering.
- Suspension modes include tow\haul, sport, slippery, off road, rock crawl and Baja. Plus a new R mode that continuously monitors driving preferences, habits, traction and ground contact and preps the shocks with dampening.
- Features extensive underbody cladding and armor
