5 stars

They are pretty ok
They definitely aren’t the worst (except Coy, he’s pretty bad). Anyway, if you need something to listen to while you search Craigslist for used tires, or try to squeeze Titan parts onto your frontier, this show will do. I was going to give the show three stars because of Coy, but I couldn’t do that to the other hosts. Rock on gentleman! 🤘

News brought to you by Colby Valve
- Motor 1 – Recall On Almost 1 Million Ford Trucks & SUVs
- Ford is recalling nearly a million trucks and SUVs for missing owner’s manual information.
- Books lack information about some of the head restraints in the vehicles.
- The recall involves certain 2018-2023 Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator SUVs equipped with third-row seats. It also includes the 2019-2023 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, and F-600 Super Duty trucks in SuperCab or regular cab configurations with the three-passenger front bench seat.
- It involves 979,797 vehicles.
- This isn’t the first time an automaker has had to have a recall related to the owner’s manual. Subaru issued one for the 2022 WRX in January because its manual might have contained incorrect instructions for adjusting the model’s high-beam sensitivity. Subaru only had to recall 4,615 vehicles.
- Ford has issued 29 recalls so far this year for 4.1 million vehicles. The automaker ended 2022 with the most recalls in the US, which involved 8.6 million vehicles.
- For Authority – Ranger Raptor wins at Finke Desert Race
- The Ford Ranger Raptor has been on sale in select international markets for some time now, and will soon launch in the U.S. for the very first time.
- Ford has also been out testing an essentially stock – save for necessary safety equipment – Ford Ranger Raptor at various off-road racing events.
- Baja 1000 scored a class win
- Simola Hillclimb in South Africa a class win
- Tatts Finke Desert Race in Australia Ford scored another class win using the the same vehicle and drivers from the Baja 1000
- The Tatts Finke Desert Race goes from Alice springs to Finke and back covering 286 miles.
- The Ranger Raptor did it in 5 hours, 56 minutes and 30 seconds.
- Even better, the team completed the second part of that journey in just in 2 hours, 51 minutes and 18 seconds, which is a Production 4WD class record.
- The Finke Desert Race is Australia’s toughest off-road race
- “The Finke Desert Race is one of the toughest events on the off-road calendar, and one that we’ve wanted to take on for a long time,” said Justin Capicchiano, Ford Performance and Special Vehicles Engineering manager, Australia. “To have been able to achieve what we have over the past few days is truly dream come true stuff for me, and for my team. We made it happen with some excellent and committed partners and a small and dedicated team, which grew as the program did. Our Ranger Raptor finished as well as it started, and seriously looked like we could drive back to Melbourne. It’s an incredible truck, and we are immensely proud of this outstanding result.”
