  • Car Buzz – 300 Series Land Cruiser Spotted in the US
    • Two years ago it was announced that the LC300 wouldn’t be sold in the states
    • A 300 series Land Cruiser GR Sport was spotted in Mishawaka, Indiana with Michigan Manufactures plates
      • The GR Sport comes with an Electronic-Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (E-KDSS) which automatically controls the front and rear stabilizers independently
      • gets both front and rear electronic differential locks
      • uniquely shaped bumpers that improve durability in off-road conditions
      • it is said to have the longest wheel articulation of any prior Land Cruiser
      • It also gets interior changes as well
    • Jorge Alvarez, who spotted the LC300 asked the driver what it was doing in the US and was told that it was just a test vehicle.
    • There is speculation that it is headed to the Chicago Auto Show, which starts Feb 11th, and that possibly an official announcement might be made about the Land Cruisers return to the US
  • Car Buzz – Land Rover Adds a 3rd Shift for the Defenders Production
    • Because of its popularity, Land Rover has added a 3rd production shift for the Defender
    • It has been their best seller for the past 7 quarters
    • This extra shift should help with the backlog of orders that have accumulated
    • The sales numbers are expected to rise even higher with the all electric Defender coming in 2025
    • Not including sales in China, the Defender makes up 75% of the Land Rover Sales
