ANYONE DONE ANYTHING EXCITING?

  • Jeremy – Got new foot pegs for the bike, after I sheared off my old ones.
  • Aaron – Scored some custom truck bed drawers for free. I am the 4th Frontier guy to own them.  I am now part of the brotherhood of the traveling drawers.

LONG RANGE AMERICA

  • I would assume that more capacity is the main reason that people would want a bigger fuel tank.  Is there any other reasons that someone might want to swap out their OEM tank for one of yours?
  • How are the tanks built?
  • Are they just a large rectangular tank or is there more sophistication to them than that?
  • All that sounds pretty simple, lots of guys do custom tanks and fuel cells.  What’s the big deal?
  • Your website shows prices that suggest that these will cost up to two thousand dollars with freight.  That’s a big number for a lot of people. How can people justify that expense compared to jerry cans or Roto Packs?
  • I’ve noticed that other aftermarket tanks are plastic different types of metal.  What are yours made from?
  • What is aluminized steel?
  • Since they are metal do offroaders still need a skid plate under it for protection?
