• Two weeks ago duck hunt with Chicken friend beef recap
• Sunday and Monday duck hunts – First off, theme is: moar different optic.  Why?
• Sunday- theme was wind and icebergs.  Bugged out, went to road hunt the river.  Only a few flocks, with two of the few within sight of anglers.  The second set looking back,  I shoulda gone after.  Spotted the one set on my next loop, parked and hunted em.  Downed one.  Second set I spotted, they were in a great spot for a stalk.  But I gone and fucked that up….
• Monday- theme was I was bored so I drove the river.  Only found one set and I gone and fucked that up.
• Lessons learned: that’s why we do this.
• Recipes.  We got asked about that a couple weeks ago, I said I’d go into it more and forgot.  Let me not forgot here.

Sam  

• Upcoming bear hunt.
• Tested out the cheapest hot tent and stove on Amazon. So far I have not burned the whole yard down. 
• Took the GLFA .300wm out to the range because I’m taking it to the bear hunt. Chopped the handguard finally, mounted the 1-6x Swampfox Warhorse since I’ll be limiting myself to 300 yards or so.
• Four fte’s and two ftf’s, we think the bolt speed is absolutely astronomic.

• New pack on the way, was supposed to be here today but no dice is here

• Test run complete

• Ye olde campsite has been cleaned up
• Notes on the current climate
• Had a sit for a bit before heading home
• Sat out behind the house the next morning and found some mercy
