• Intro to the duck hunt from Monday: I saw a bear! That’s one more than Sam.
• Right after the bear got three-fer.  Downed three coot with three shots.  Two birds DOA.  Third…man there is a lot about boat shooting to learn.  Could not land the kill shot on the final bird to save it’s life.
• We rowed around for quite a bit and even rowed to the spot we threw decoys out.  We beached the boats and tried to stalk the ducks we knew were there but busted em.  Analysis: we moved too fast, too eager, and peeked too quick to see what was there.  Try moving slower and quieter and lower next time.  Peek only when ready to shoot.  Pop and find targets.
• Shot two more after that.  Downed one, took a shot on a fleeing second, downed it, but also…the damnedst thing happened.
