• We have used the boats!
• The good: We rowed all over the place.  Fantastic exercise.  Rowed in to our decoy spot which turned out to be a mile up the lake coast.  Decoyed up for a bit
  Rowed up to the north end of the lake later when the ducks seemed to stop.
  The bad: I need a longer paddle.  This one is a six footer.  Life jackets and shotguns suck massively, so, I have a solution.  And the gloves I was using in the morning did not cut it.

  What did we get?  Lots of coot.
