Tonight we’re talkin’ running guns, kids and coverage from the heat you may experience

Mike 

• The waterfowl intelligence mission
  Still no fish. 
  So many geese.  Fewer ducks, but still ducks.
  Could hear the ducks quacking as the sun went down
• Took the child to BV shoot at the public range there
  Shot the GLFA to 500 solidly, suppressed.
  Did Mozambiques with the SIG556.  Got the child to shoot the 556.  She also shot the 10/22 and her little Savage Rascal.
• Prado update:
  Discovered that it’s hot out there, so I got an Ironman 4×4 4.6ft Awning and attached it to the roof rack.  Had to remount the side lights so that they would shine under it, as intended to light camp areas.   Pictures to be on the IG later.  Test run coming
• Test run coming.  Two day camp with Ella and family  coming up at Eleven Mile. 
  Different spot to try out since we’re doing a Fri-Sun instead of the normal Sun-Mon.
  Gonna scout a bit for quackers , fish off the dock by the marina and maybe go for a hike.  Overall just search for peace.  Camp spot has a solid view of the lake.  Should be fun.

• The Burial Mound Run and Gun Summer Team event was great success, much fun had
• Thoughts on gear used, 5x prism, Riflespeed, BA barrel, Handgun woes, holster failure? Different stages highlighted the usefulness and limitations of the 5x micro, Magpul pro offset sights. 
• Skittles mag flex 
• It were hot
• GoPros are really fun if you remember to use them
• We won a stage…but at what cost?

• Hiking with the wife at Beavers Bend State Park for her birthday, Airbnb, mini golf in Hochatown, Lower Mountain Fork River, Broken Bow Lake  
• Covered 1300feet of elevation on a 4 mile hike
• Plenty of smaller wildlife, but very hot out, no big game around
• Spider attacks
• VDSM
