Welcome back to another episode of Let’s Go Hunt! – the everyman’s hunting and outdoor podcast.. We aren’t experts, but we’re out there doing it. Join us on our journey!  As always we have:

Tonight, we’re talking about deer!

Mike 

• After lack of Action Report
  Frustration with a lot of parts of it
  Actually managed to get there and in place before first light
  Found the deer stand from last year; commandeered it.
  Lots of birds.  Abandoned it at 1030, went for a walk.
  Discovered where they spent last night or the night before
  Zero sign whatsoever anywhere near what had clear sign last year.
  Felt not great, went road hunting, had something to eat.
  Went all the way to Hope Ponds where Shawn and I were two years ago
  Decided to hike in a bit, see what I rustle up.
  Found a small beaver dam and spooked it
  Rustled one up, and it rustled off, I rustled home grumpy and sick
• Trying to critically think it through:
  What could I have done differently?
  I want a monocular now
• Pheasants with Dooley!
  

Dave

• Finds more deer
• Found a fuck load of antelope
• Almost hit a canada goose

Sam  

• Thinks people who get lost probably deserved it.
