This week Hunter talks about the Colt M5 Experience two-day class (optic, ammo, and lunch included) and I try to figure out what the hell an M5 actually is — ambi lower, a bit overbuilt, and the joy of going from a good trigger back to mil-spec. We also talk about how trainers who come from competitive shooting backgrounds approach target transitions differently than pure tactical guys, plus some LPVO vs red dot thoughts and Low Visibility Operations/Applications.

I ask Hunter “what guns do you have for fun?” question with a Colt Single Action Army and an 8-inch Anaconda. Nick talks about the eye-shine trick for spotting eyes in the distance as Hunter thinks something is out front, a quick horror movie catch-up (including The Return of Doctor X with its old school vibe and Humphrey Bogart), a homemade camera mount, and some YouTube rabbit holes: re-released old horror audio dramas, a 1920s Arctic Expedition drama, and the Bedtime Stories channel.
