Listener Jason:

I was wondering what your thoughts are on the potential for carrying an LCP22 with a can on the end.  I was thinking something along the lines of a Q Erector or maybe a Gemtech Pill Bottle.  I already have the LCP 22, it’s my wife’s go to carry, but I keep debating on buying the conversion threaded barrel and going after the can.

I worry about the “browning action” on the LCP.  I don’t think it technical locks, but the barrel does tilt at the end of the slide cycling.  I don’t know of any 22 cans with boosters, but I think a small light can like those above wouldn’t cause any problems for the action.  I have a couple other cans that I can try it on first, before getting an Erector, but nothing as small and light as those.

Obviously I would have to figure out some sort of solution for a holster, but I normally make my own kydex holsters with Discreet Carry Concepts clips.  I’m sure with some trial and error I could figure out a functional holster.

I think it would be a fun little set up for low risk environments.

Looking forward to hearing your thought, and really hoping someone out there has already tried it and could give me the thumbs up before I dive into this project.

Thanks for your time,

Jason
