Expo Arms M-LOK Barrier Stopping Device

This is a lightweight, minimalist barrier and handstop, designed specifically for duty carbines and short-barreled rifles.

https://www.primaryarms.com/expo-arms-m-lok-barrier-hand-stop

Versatility: The height of the barrier stopping device is substantial enough to offer strong lock-up as a forward barrier stop—OR it can be used as a regular handstop.

Quality: It’s machined from solid aluminum with a durable black hardcoat anodization. The front and rear tread-style texturing improves grip without excessive snagging or discomfort.

Value: It’s an American-made, aluminum barrier stop with quality components for just under $25. It’s hard to find a value like that on the market, especially when Expo Arms backs it with a lifetime warranty.

With over 13,000 products from over 400 top brands, Primary Arms carries a complete selection of rifles, handguns, firearms parts, shooting gear, apparel, and more. Every order comes with a commitment to superior service, backed by fast shipping and an expert support team.

Two grand on a gun or guns?   hmm.

Since I’m at this point pretty firmly in the carry revolver camp, Kimber K6s plus full kit for it.  Going by Midway USA’s pricing, the gun itself gets you almost to a grand.  $958

Add Crimson Trace lasergrip, $370

Add a Mika pocket holster.  $32

And figure some good belt holster. and a speedloader carrier, ~$100.

All that leaves you ~$350 left over.  Pick some Taurus to fill it out.  Say, a bobbed hammer DAO 856 Ultralite.

pocket holster, the best: https://mikaspocketholsters.com/product/pocket-holster/

Listener Matthew S:

Well I was initially going to say something like a new colt python 4” in and a canik DA as it is a needed transition pistol to show the evolution from the walther p99 design into what the caniks are today. But that’s all to the wayside cause in actually finding a new colt python a few weeks ago turns out that gun will eat an entire $2000 budget but damn is it a sweet gun!
