Main Topic: EWA & Listener Emails

Listener Phil:

Hello,

Was watching the video of a Ukrainian chick tossing a Molotov cocktail at a Russian tank, drive by style.  Wow, she’s a keeper, God bless ‘em!

So that got me to thinking… what is your loadout for the Kiev boogaloo?  We’re gonna saddle up the Pinto and go kick some commie butt, bub!  Wolverines!

Com-bloc or whatever’s in the safe or some full on American Hollywood?

Phil from the border.

Listener BJ:

Hey guys, love the show. I’m down in Kennebunk and just got back from Miami. This trip got me thinking.

Do you guys happen to know if one can transport a firearm as according to FOPA (locked box), ammo separate, just as you would when flying but directly to Logan from a “free state”? I’m pretty terrified of even having a spent casing stuck in my shoe when traveling to Mass let alone transporting a pistol to check on a flight – so ideally I’d prefer to fly out of ME or NH, but sometimes we have to use Logan.

BTW, I’ve been having a lot of fun shooting my m11/9 with a lage upper currently in jail over at Howell’s. Great guys over there.

Keep up the good work, love the podcast!

Listener Rob

Saw this bond arms derringer in 357 mag at my favorite lgs; at the price it’s tempting but then I think about it some and holy shit… basically just triggering small hand grenades and holding tight vs throwing as a normal person would.

Is there even enough barrel length to impart a spin on the bullet? Seems a full 357 would dang near be crowning the barrel before it’s even fired!

Ramblin Gambler:

I know I’m late and don’t expect to win anything.  I wasn’t planning to send an entry but I was inspired by the entries you read on the last show.  Inspired by how lame they were.

The Guns:

Winchester 1887 in 10 Ga. – Primary weapon.

Colt SAA in 45 colt – As a backup fr close in work.

Winchester 1894 in 30-30 – For reaching out and touching a mofo.

Misc

A bowie knife because a knife never runs out of ammo.

A medkit – consisting of several extra bandanas and 2 bottles of high proof rye whisky.  Just because it’s in a medkit doesn’t mean it can’t be the good stuff.

several sticks of dynamite – I’m not sure how many will fit in the saddlebags, but I’m hoping between 4 and 8.  I will also have cigars to light them with when the time comes.

Oh and BTW, I live in 1897.

Side note:  I was surprised at how few people brought anything to handle handcuffs.  One person mentioned something to cut them with (good luck with that) but I think that’s it.  There’s no reason for a man to not have handcuff keys in today’s world.  They are cheap and all keyed alike.  Maybe everyone else just assumed it didn’t need to be said.  In my case, I don’t need them in 1897 because the metal was much weaker and they weren’t all keyed alike anyway.
