God: Sportsman Daily devotional. Church on Sunday

Guns: EDC Been a while. Deer season is in full swing. I shot a good buck last thursday and tracked it a long way and lost it. Really bothered me not finding it. A little redemption tuesday night. Me and Shawn Patrick went after a hog I have been trying to get for about a month. Had him on camera for 4 days at the same time every night. We headed out and like clock work there he was. He got smoked. Probably a 350 pound hog. Sadly I was in Ky for my nephews funeral after he passed away. My heart was broken for my brother John and family. Way to young to loose him. Invited to my grand daughter Mckennah’s school today for a Veterans Day parade. Had a great time.

Happy Veterans Day to all those who served past and present. Thank you for your service.

On their way to get married, a young Catholic couple is involved in a fatal car accident. The couple found themselves sitting outside the Pearly Gates waiting for St. Peter to process them into Heaven. While waiting, they began to wonder: Could they possibly get married in Heaven? When St. Peter showed up, they asked him. St. Peter said, “I don’t know. This is the first time anyone has asked. Let me go find out,'” and he left. The couple sat and waited, and waited. Two months passed and the couple were still waiting. While waiting, they began to wonder what would happen if it didn’t work out; could you get a divorce in heaven? After yet another month, St. Peter finally returned, looking somewhat bedraggled. “Yes,” he informed the couple, “You can get married in Heaven.” “Great!” said the couple, “But we were just wondering, what if things don’t work out? Could we also get a divorce in Heaven?” St. Peter, red-faced with anger, slammed his clipboard onto the ground. “What’s wrong?” asked the frightened couple. “OH, COME ON!,” St. Peter shouted, “It took me three months to find a priest up here! Do you have any idea how long it’ll take me to find a lawyer? 

On this day in History:

On this day, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the last soviet president Mikhail Gorbachev and Polish ex-president and Noble Prize winner Lech Walesa walked through Brandenburg Gate in Berlin to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Armed Citizen
A disgruntled former employee of an Arlington, Texas, Honda dealership who attempted to shoot his former employees with a long gun was driven back by a dealership service advisor who had a gun and opened fire on the armed assailant.

Police say the 25-year-old suspect walked into the dealership lot with a “long-style rifle” and opened fire on the building. One employee who witnessed the incident said, “I heard one of my friends say, ‘Hey, he has a gun.’ I look up and look him right in the face, and he has a blank, very calm face. [He] points the gun, it’s a big gun like an AR … he turns and just shoots right at the window.”

The armed suspect then approached the dealer service area, where he encountered the service advisor, who drew his gun and opened fire. Police arrived on scene as the 25-year-old was driven out of the service building by the armed employee. The assailant then approached officers with the long gun and was shot by police. Nobody was hurt in the incident, except the suspect, who has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault against a public servant and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
