Intro: Welcome back to Episode 349 of the God and Guns Podcast . I’m your host, Troy. (Doug) And I’m your other host Doug. (Troy) We use this podcast to talk about  God, guns, and the responsible Christian gun owners’ interests. Doug:

God: Sportsman Daily devotional. Been at church the last few weeks. 

Guns: Put a new gun on layaway got to go pick up. Another 365 with the RMR cut. Just got home from looking at a new spot to kill hogs. A friend asked me to come and help him out. Also set up my 4100 in the house and tested and working good. 

Troy:

God: Daily Bible Reading, Church with exception of first couple weeks after foot issue.

Guns: EDC, Got Sig 365XL and pocket Holster and Crossbreed Minituck on order, gave Gunnar my WP PVS-14 helmet and gear.

Farm: Springtime on the farm already. Lost a barn and some trees to last friday’s wind storm. Sold a 22 month old bull. Gunnar has been taking the hay out with tractor.

Ham: checking into nets, booked tickets and hotel for Hamcation in Orlando in February, we had a winner of the Yaesu FT4X Radio Brian Herbert KC3VEE of Hamburg PA passed his tech class and got his license Nov 22nd.

A Kindergarten teacher was observing her classroom as the children drew pictures. The teacher would occasionally walk around and see each child’s artwork. As she approached one little girl who was working especially hard, she asked what the drawing was.
The little girl told her: “I’m drawing God!”
“But sweety,” the teacher replied, “no one actually knows what God looks like.”

Battle of the Monitor and Merrimack

On this day in 1862 during the American Civil War, the ironclads Monitor and Virginia (formerly Merrimack) battled in the harbour at Hampton Roads, Virginia, marking the beginning of a new era of naval warfare.

Armed Citizen
A Grayson County, Va., man is dead after allegedly breaking into a house and attacking an armed homeowner early in the morning on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022.
According to police, the 41-year-old alleged intruder broke a bedroom window and entered the house while the homeowner was asleep. The resident quickly grabbed for a handgun that was in the room, when the burglar grabbed the man from behind. A struggle ensued, with both men falling to the floor. The homeowner retained control of his handgun and fired twice, striking the invader and killing him.
Police say that early investigations indicate the homeowner acted within the law. (WDBJ7 News, Roanoke, Va., 12/6/22)
