Doug:

God: Sportsman Daily devotional. Online church Sunday

Guns: EDC. I have decided on my new pocket gun. Going with the Sig P365. Also got my regular carry gun back from my friend I loaned it to for the class she took. She loved it and is going to buy a new Glock19. Headed to Fla for a little rest and relaxation next week. Going to go and visit our friends at Gun Depot USA. Hopefully I get to shoot a little video with them. Also got my security system going at the new house. Praise, our friend Darrell is home from the hospital and recovering nicely. We are glad he is feeling much better. Gonna try and shoot a hog tomorrow. Got a big boy on camera.

Troy:

God: Daily Bible Reading, Attended Resurrection Day at South Fork Sunday and saw lots of familiar faces, it was strange to feel like a visitor.

Guns: Bought a Shadow Systems XR920, 

Ham: Ham Luncheon this Tuesday, Participated in a few Nets last week, Update my Hotspot Pi-Star  Firmware and software.

Farm: Farm is cold, wet, and muddy, Sleet this afternoon, New Primary Arms

to me Polaris Ranger 900 XP.

Bob and Becky have twin boys that are about to turn 10 years old. Both boys could be more opposite from each other. One is happy go lucky and always sees the best in everything. The other is gloom and doom and doesn’t see the good in much of anything. Mom and Dad decide to consult a psychologist about the boys attitudes. 

The Dr. tell them since their birthday is coming in a couple days, give the gloom and doom son something to be extremely happy about and the happy carefree son something that they know he will not like to see if their attitudes change in any way.

So mom and dad give the gloom and doom son a brand new bicycle for his birthday and they make the other son clean all the manure out of the barn.

As they give the son the bicycle, he complains its the wrong color, size, wrong tires and isn’t happy at all.

Dad checks on the other son in the barn and he is all smiles and working his heart out. Dad asks him why he is so happy.

The son replies, I know there’s got to be a pony in here somewhere.

Armed Citizen
A Memphis, Tenn., man had to fight for his life after an armed burglar allegedly tried to rob him on Feb. 16, 2022.
The man was sitting in his van, parked in the driveway of his mother’s house that Wednesday afternoon, when a stranger approached the vehicle. The unknown man opened the door and got into the passenger seat, before pulling a gun and aiming it at the driver. The driver quickly opened his door and rolled out of the van before trying to run away.
The stranger opened fire on the fleeing man, who was struck in the leg. However, the injured man was able to draw his own pistol and begin returning fire at his attacker. The attacker was also struck during this exchange and soon fled the scene in a dark-gray Ford Fusion. He apparently turned up at a local hospital later on. The driver was taken to the hospital for his wound as well but was expected to make a full recovery. (wreg.com, Memphis, Tenn., 02/16/2022)
