  Some great recommendations on the “one long gun” question. Spent time looking and see positives for each. The lever action Henry Big Boy 357 adding the PA 1X6 scope would be the choice.  Info not provided in the original question was sharing my affinity with lever guns seeded from my inner little boy using the Daisy Centennial BB gun.
